Outline of Annual Research Achievements

Due to the advance of vehicular technologies, Vehicular Content Networks (VCNs) have been able to provide various services, where the vehicular content needs to be delivered efficiently. Especially, with the development of connected vehicles and the increase of multimedia content, providing the guaranteed performance of vehicular content becomes an important issue.
In this research, we study the delivery of vehicular content by caching them in the parked vehicles. Based on the analyses of the distribution of vehicular content and vehicle mobility for parking area, an algorithm has been proposed to determine how to cache replicas with parked vehicles. The related model has been shown and the performance is evaluated with simulation results.
