Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究実績の概要(~平成27年3月31日) In year 2014, our research was focused on (1)improving business wisdom (BW) framework from a practical business perspective;(2)implementing a fusion technique based data mining engine engine (DME) which includes three modules: a business service specification module, a fusion planning module, and a fusion execution module;(3)verifying DME using a retail business application; (4)defining the concepts of data, information, knowledge, and their relations;(5)designing a KID (knowledge, information, data) model, i.e. human information processing inspired model for knowledge discovery.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
(今後の推進方策) In year 2015, based on our achievements in year 2013 and 2014, our research will continuously be focused on (1) Refining the definition of knowledge, information, data, and their relations; (2) Designing and implementing KID, a human information processing inspired knowledge discovery model; (3) Developing on Cyber-I based Cyber-customer model with the features of being born and growable with new discoveries about the customer; (4) A retail business as an application to verify the prototype of the business wisdom framework and its components and modules (DME engine, KID model, Cyber-customer, etc); and (5) Discussing with researchers worldwide and publishing our research results in international conferences and journals.

Causes of Carryover |
In our original research plan, we thought we need much budget for system implementing and overseas traveling for attending international conferences. However, in fact, in year 2014, our researches were mainly focused on design, simulation, and modeling which required a certain budget for manpower but not much as planned, moreover, we attended some international conferences but we did not spend as much as we planned as well.

In year 2015, we will plan to use our research budget to (1) manpower fee for implemeting DME engine, KID model, retail business application; (2) overseas travel fee for attending international conference and presenting our research results; (3) English proofreading fee for improving and enhancing our result reports in English since we are not native English speakers; (4) Honorarium for inviting experts and professors in the same field to give talks and exchange ideas and research results.
