Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
研究実績の概要(~平成)28年3月31日) In year 2015, our research was focused on (1) continuously verifying and improving our business wisdom (BW) framework with the implementation results of business knowledge discovery and insight mining from retail business datasets; (2) Improving our data-information-knowledge (KID) model with the concept of unified structure and data driven pragmatic implementation approach; (3) Proposing and designing a knowledge repository (K-Store) for KID model and applying to a retail business case study; (4) Designing and implementing an application driven knowledge discovery and fusion planning algorithms for wisdom business and demonstrating with the case study of the retail business; (5) Personalized business intelligence model is further enhanced with consideration of personal big data (PBD) mining on the Cyber-I (Cyber-Individual) platform.

Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In year 2016, based on our achievements in year 2013, 2014 and 2015, our research will be focused on (1) Finalizing the n-dimensional big data mining based business wisdom model; (2) Incorporating KID model, data mining engine, knowledge fusion engine into the business wisdom model; (3) Incorporating the Cyber-customer individual model into the business wisdom model; (4) Seeking for a real business application and practical collaboration with retail business companies, and pushing our business wisdom model into practical use; and (5) Promoting our research results worldwide and publishing our research results in international conferences and journals.

Causes of Carryover |
In this year, we were planning to attend more international conferences and allocated more budgets to overseas travels. However, due to our busy schedule on research and development we did not make time to some overseas travels. Instead, we submitted our presentation slides and played in the conference sites. Moreover, we published our research results to the international journals instead of international conference in such way we reduced our oversea travels and used less the allocated budget than we expected and planned.

We will use the budget to have more collaboration with related research groups and teams by visiting them and exchanging ideas and research results with them. Meanwhile, we will make more travels to attend international conferences for having more opportunities to promoting our research achievements worldwide. Moreover, we will allocate the budget to complete the implementation of K-Store (a knowledge respository) and knowedge fusion engine.
