Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research project, we conducted survey by interviews and questionnaire to examine the situation of career development for special librarians. We studied state of competency acquirement in special librarians, and policies toward development of human resources in parent organizations. As a result of analyzing these surveys, we were able to clarify processes career development for special librarians through interviews, and actual conditions and problems of development of human resources through questionnaire survey to executive librarians.
