生物起源有機物の光酸化で生じる粒子状有機硝酸塩の水溶液相反応過程の解明

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本年度は時間分解測定手法を用いた室内チャンバー実験により酸触媒二次有機エアロゾル生成を研究した。イソプレン/NOx光酸化により二次有機エアロゾルを生成後亜硫酸ガスをチャンバー内に導入した。エアロゾル質量分析計を用いて二次粒子の化学組成を時間の関数として分析した。有機エアロゾル濃度は、亜硫酸ガス導入の約1時間後に導入前の650％に増加した。この結果は、乾燥条件でも粒子相反応が起こりうることを示唆している。別の実験では、二次有機エアロゾル生成後のチャンバーに噴霧器を用いて硫酸エアロゾルを直接導入した。硫酸エアロゾルを導入している間は有機エアロゾルの濃度が増加したが、硫酸エアロゾルの導入を停止すると有機エアロゾルの濃度は速やかに減少した。イソプレンの光酸化からの酸触媒二次有機エアロゾル生成では表面反応が一定の役割を果たすと考えられる。さらに表面反応の役割を調べるため、イソプレン/NO/SO2光酸化系の一連の実験を行った。イソプレン及びNOの初期濃度を一定としながら初期SO2濃度を変化させて実験を行い、生成する粒子の表面積を変化させた。これらの実験の結果から、生成する二次有機エアロゾルの濃度は粒子の表面積に比例することが確かめられた。エアロゾル質量分析計により二次有機エアロゾルの不飽和性を評価したところ、亜硫酸ガスの添加によって有機物の不飽和性が増加することが明らかになった。硫酸存在下ではこれまで本課題で研究してきたように有機硫酸塩が生成する他、アルドール縮合などによる有機物の重合反応も進むと考えられる。
