Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this research, we have proposed a new CS Unplugged activity utilizing regional materials and have developed its teaching materials. It teaches the concept of process scheduling to its learners. In order to make the function of process scheduling unplugged, we have utilized Yamata-no-Orochi (Eight-Headed Dragon), which appears in Izumo mythology. We have verified our process of unplugging based on the CS Unplugged design pattern. This activity enables its learners to experience some concrete process scheduling methods. Through the trials of this activity with students of a technical college and a university, we have confirmed its effectiveness.
