Outline of Final Research Achievements

A fundamental study of low-frequency ultrasound imaging system has been developed in this study.
Range resolutions of parametric sound at low frequency with the sharp directivity was improved by the application of pulse compression technique. The results indicate the generation of chirp modulated parametric sounds and the realization of pulse compression of the parametric sound.
Finally, low frequency ultrasound images were obtained by the application of the compressed parametric sounds. This result indicates that the proposed method generates low frequency ultrasound images with improved range resolutions.
