Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Our research aim is to reduce of side effects and drug resistance cells onset using anticancer drugs in cancer chemotherapy. We examined ability of the cytotoxicity reaction augmentation by an anticancer drug and extremely low frequency - electric magnetic field (ELF-EMF) exposure combination using human lung cancer cell line. Cisplatin is an anticancer drug used in lung cancer chemotherapy. Augmentation of cisplatin cytotoxicity reaction using ELF-EMF exposure combination was observed in a blood cisplatin levels range to be given by ordinary chemotherapy. Our results indicates that likelihood of development of the minimally invasive new medical technology.
