Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In 5/6 nephrectomised rats exhibiting chronic renal failure, granulocyte colony-stimulating factor (G-CSF) and angiotensin II receptor blocker enhanced renoprotective effect compared with G-CSF alone. In Dahl salt-sensitive (Dahl-S) rats fed high salt diet, exercise training suppressed renal damage, and improved the changes of renal renin-angiotensin system. Also, inhibitors of oxidative stress source improved renal damage in Dahl-S rats.
