| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Four investigations were implemented:Life histories of para-athletes, university curriculum for physical education teacher training; attitude survey about people with disability and para-sports; and company survey about support to para-sports. The results are as follows.
The way of socialization into sports is different depending on the type of disability. In very few universities, an adapted physical activities course is required. People who have watched para-sports or experienced it have more a positive attitude to people with disabilities and para-sports. Companies support para-sports through hiring para-sports athletes and offering their members to participate as volunteers at the para-sports games.
