In a newly published book Embedded Mutualism for Co-Living in African Pastoralism: Ethnographic Studies on the Karimojong and Dodoth in North-Eastern Uganda Itsuhiro Hazama, Kyoto: Kyoto University Press, 2015, pp.312(in Japanese), and special session of Human Behavior & Evolution Society of Japan held in 2015, applied and critical ecological anthropology was practiced to undermine that crucial assumption of external power politics against pastoralism.
