Outline of Final Research Achievements

I have considered the wage determination of government employees from the theoretical labor economics. In addition, we have also tried to collect data and materials on labor-management relations, on their labor conditions and on the trade unions of the public sector. In particular, I made efforts to collect the longterm-series of the labor union participation rates for their institutional factors. I explored the possibility of applying its theoretical and empirical models for them. However, the structure of the labor market, which is not incompletely competitive, are difficult to analyze in traditional theoretical models for private profit-making enterprises. Also the points of institutional and political issues should be considered more. I intend to continue to make analysis on these topics.
