| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In relation to the topic, the current research has discovered that the sustainability of such circles as Tokeidai in Nagoya and Dairiseki in Aomori was made possible by their stable relationship with labor unions and by the consistent presence of key individuals in the circles, whereas Warera no uta in Hiroshima managed to sustain itself as it became a semi-coterie group. This study was also able to more deeply understand the significance of Shudan no kai, which formed as a circle to study post-1960s circles through debates in the postwar history study group of Shiso no kagaku circle. In organizing the documents formerly in the possession of late Hamaga Tomohiko, late Murata Hisashi, late Gomi Masahiko, advances have been made in preserving them. The digitization of 6mm tapes in the possession of Shiso no kagaku study group has been completed as well. Besides these tasks, the researcher has received several donations of documents and conducted research interviews.
