The main purpose of this studies to provide evidence for supporting coping flexibility hypothesis. The coping flexibility hypothesis refers to the ability to discontinue an ineffective coping strategy and replace it with a more
effective alternative. The coping flexibility hypothesis predicts that more flexible coping will produce more adaptive outcomes.
