非束縛原子核の存在形態と崩壊様式に対する動力学的研究

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

最終年度は、2中性子ハロー核である6Heから中性子をノックアウトして非束縛核5Heが生成される反応に着目し、5He(共鳴状態)と4He-nの非共鳴状態を包括的に取り扱いつつ、5Heが微分断面積にどのような形態で出現するかを明らかにした。5Heは最も簡単な構造を持つ非束縛核の1つであり、相互作用がよくわかっているため、不定性の小さい分析が可能である。この模型の枠組み自体は一般の2中性子ハロー核に適用可能であるため、理化学研究所等で取得が予定されているデータとの比較に向けた準備が整ったと言える。さらに上記のノックアウト反応は、2中性子ハロー核内におけるダイニュートロン相関のプローブとなり得ることが判明し、ノックアウト反応の新しい展開への道筋を付けることに成功した。
研究期間全体を俯瞰すると、原子核の非束縛状態の生成・崩壊を統一的に記述するという試みは高い成功を収めたと言える。特に6Heの共鳴状態(2+状態)が動的に生成され、4Heと2つの中性子に崩壊する様子を不定性なく描き、その崩壊モードを特定したことは、未解明の部分が大きい3体崩壊モードの定量的理解にとって大きな一歩と言える。また、連続状態粒子振動結合法を用いてドリップライン核24Oの非弾性散乱断面積の再現に成功したことも重要な成果である。
非束縛原子核については、一般の系では相互作用の不定性が大きいことや、実験データが期間内に十分得られなかったこともあり、事実上、5Heに対象を絞る形となった。とはいえ、ノックアウト反応によって5Heが生成される反応の記述に成功したことは、今後取得が進む、一般の非束縛核を生成する実験の解析にとって極めて重要であると言える。
なお、非束縛粒子の生成・崩壊を定量的に記述するという本研究を通じて、反応模型の改善・拡張や、微視的反応論の進展など、数多くの副次的な成果が得られたことを強調しておきたい。
