Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2015年度は，研究成果の報告に重点を置き，ベトナムでの地質調査はデータの確認や不足データの採取，今後の研究の継続や発展を想定した予備調査などを目的として実施した．これまでの研究成果の一部は，ベトナム国立自然博物館から3月に出版された論文・要旨集に5編を掲載し，この他にもPalaeontological Researchなどに複数の論文が受理および掲載されている．また，上記以外に2編の論文を投稿中である．
論文・要旨集に掲載された内容は，ランソン省に分布するランソン層とバックテゥイ層のインデュアン―オレネキアン境界やスミシアン―スパシアン境界，コノドント生層序などに関わるものが3編，北部ベトナム南部の三畳系から産出した介形虫，中部ベトナムとラオスに分布するジュラ系の国際対比，北部ベトナム西部の白亜系から産出した生痕化石と古環境などに関するものが各１編である．投稿中の論文は，下部三畳系バックテゥイ層のスミシアン―スパシアン境界を中心に安定炭素同位体比の分析や有機炭素量の測定などを行ない，これらの時代境界で海洋無酸素事変が生じていたことやコノドントやアンモナイトなどの分類群で絶滅事変が起こっていた可能性を指摘した内容である．
デボン系を中心とする古生界の研究については，順調に進んでいるが，化石の産出量が当初の見積もりを大きく上回っていたため，現在も研究を継続中で具体的な成果の公表は来年度になる見通し．なお，今年度実施した予備調査では，オルドビス系やデボン系などでコノドントや筆石などの新産地を発見し，上部三畳系では地質年代や古地理などを研究する上で重要なアンモナイトや二枚貝などを採取した．
