Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The technical development for the high-pressure neutron diffraction on hydrous magma at J-PARC, where the most intense neutron beam is available in the world, has been performed. In addition, high-energy X-ray diffraction on the hydrous and anhydrous NaAlSi3O8 glasses, which can give compensatory information obtained from neutron diffraction, has been taken at BL04B2 in SPring-8.
