Outline of Annual Research Achievements

磁性層を積層したナノワイヤにおける電流誘起磁壁移動における層間相互作用およびスピン軌道トルクの影響を調べた.その結果,ドメイン-磁壁間の静磁相互作用が磁壁移動に大きな影響を及ぼすことがわかった.ドメイン-磁壁間の静磁相互作用は近年盛んに議論がなされているスピン軌道トルクと同じくナノワイヤ面内方向の磁場として働くことを示した.また,層間における交換相互作用を反強磁性相互作用に調整することで,閾値電流を低く出来る上,磁壁移動速度が著しく向上することがわかった.低飽和磁化材料の選定および積層構造制御に加えて,層間相互作用を制御することで,低電力,高密度,高速な磁壁移動デバイスを実現できる可能性があることが明らかとなった.層間相互作用の制御に加えて,スピン軌道トルクを適切に増強することで,さらなる高速化が期待出来る.
