熱伝導性を制御した高分子機能性材料の設計

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,提案者が自ら開拓してきた熱画像ミクロスケールイメージング技術を発展させ,集光型赤外分光イメージング法を併せて開発し,赤外分光/熱画像同時測定による,高速/ミクロスケールの分光型熱イメージング装置を開発した.具体的には,同時高速測定のための光チョッパー同期ロックインアルゴリズムの開発,赤外単色光の集光入射光学系の設計,赤外中波長の分光器の試作を行なった.この方法は,熱画像と赤外分光イメージングを,同時に高速かつミクロスケールの空間分解能で可視化する.熱移動過程をダイナミックに捉え,複雑系の熱伝導性発現機構の基礎的研究を,高次構造に加えて,特定の振動吸収との相関も含めて明らかにすることで、化学反応や相転移など,熱の発生と移動に伴う物質の構造形成の過程を解析し,放熱,断熱,蓄熱等の熱伝導に関する機能発現について検討した.複合系のミクロ伝熱や対流,輻射による熱エネルギー輸送の定量化を行うモデル試料系は,光・電子線リソグラフィー,集束型レーザーにより作成した.最終年度においては,赤外線中波長領域の熱現象を、熱画像と赤外線スペクトルの同時測定によりとらえ,熱伝導性を発現する因子をスペクトル変化から得られる化学構造や濃度変化の影響を加味した温度分布の拡散として正確に定量化した.特に,蓄熱材として,n-アルカンの相転移における発熱現象を,吸収スペクトルの変化により解析することで,濃度依存性を加味したうえでの正確な温度変換を行なうことができた.さらにラジカル重合の過程における発熱の影響について,マイクロ流路内の流体の重合発熱現象として観測することに成功した.
