Research Abstract

第三世代太陽電池の研究開発にあたり、幅広い学際的なバックグラウンドを持つ研究者を結集した。平成25年度は、太陽電池材料の新規合成プロセスの開発に重点を置き、同時に電気特性・光学特性評価も行いながら、デバイス構造評価を行った。主な成果は以下のとおりにまとめられる。
①相互浸透型ポリシラン系太陽電池の形成と微細構造解析、②反射防止膜形成球状Si太陽電池の微細構造と物性評価、③PCBM:フタロシアニン系太陽電池の作製と光起電力効果、④ZnTPP:C60系太陽電池へのGe系ドット導入効果
具体的には、第一原理分子軌道法による構造・電子状態予測を行い、物質デザイン・研究詳細指針を設定した。また熱力学計算による合成プロセス予測も加味しながら、高効率太陽電池の新規合成プロセスを検討した。またGe系溶液を使用することにより14族系ドットを分散させたDA相互浸透構造有機薄膜太陽電池を形成し効率上昇に成功した。量子ドットバルクヘテロ構造中の励起子分離により光起電力効果が向上したと考えられる。

Reason

14族系ドットを導入したDA相互浸透接合太陽電池の形成を実際に行い、微細構造解析・部物性評価を行い光起電力機構を考察し、今後の研究指針を得た。具体的には、相互浸透型ポリシラン系太陽電池の形成と微細構造解析、反射防止膜形成球状Si太陽電池の微細構造と物性評価等の実施、PCBM:フタロシアニン系太陽電池の作製と光起電力効果、ZnTPP:C60系太陽電池へのGe系ドット導入効果等を明らかにした。研究論文も10報、学会発表等も8件とおおむね順調に進展している。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

平成26年度には、より詳細な電子構造・原子構造の実験的・理論的解明を行う。特に中間バンド構造の形成と自己組織量子ドットの制御への試みを行っていき、新たなる材料設計指針を構築していく。特に平成25年度のポリシラン系太陽電池、反射防止膜形成球状Si太陽電池、PCBM:フタロシアニン系太陽電池等に加えて、有機無機複合型太陽電池の形成も目指し、量子ドット等の導入も試みる。

Expenditure Plans for the Next FY Research Funding

旅費、人件費等は、予定程度には使用しなかったため、次年度へと繰り越させていただいた。
平成26年度の計画に記載したように、新しいタイプの有機無機複合型太陽電池形成のための試薬購入等に、充当させていただく予定である。
