Outline of Annual Research Achievements

平成28年度は、以下の調査を実施した。
(1) フィリピン、ルソン島北部のルンルノ鉱山および周辺において、花崗岩質貫入岩と伴われる熱水鉱床において、野外調査およびボーリングコアの観察、岩石試料採取を約1週間行なった。採取された試料について、顕微鏡観察による岩石記載、化学分析を行なった。
(2) インドネシア、スラウェシ島西部のトラジャ地域および周辺において、花崗岩質貫入岩と伴われる熱水鉱床において、野外調査、岩石試料採取を約1週間行なった。採取された試料について、顕微鏡観察による岩石記載、化学分析を行なった（本調査の実施には、別予算から旅費を支出した）。
(3) フィリピン、ミンダナオ島南部のマサラ鉱山および周辺において、花崗岩質貫入岩と伴われる熱水鉱床において、野外調査およびボーリングコアの観察、岩石試料採取を約2週間行なった（約1週間の調査を2回行なった)。採取された試料について、顕微鏡観察による岩石記載、化学分析を行なった。
(4) フィリピン、ルソン島北部のレパント鉱山および周辺において、花崗岩質貫入岩と伴われる熱水鉱床において、野外調査およびボーリングコアの観察、岩石試料採取を約2週間行なった（約1週間の調査を2回行なった)。採取された試料について、顕微鏡観察による岩石記載、化学分析を行なった（本調査の2回の現地調査のうち、1回は本助成から旅費を支出、1回は、別予算から旅費を支出した）。
これまでの年度で対象となった地域と合わせ、モンゴルおよび東南アジアにおいて熱水鉱床を伴っている花崗岩質貫入岩の酸化還元状態に基づく岩石系列と、伴われる白金族元素およびその他のレアメタルとの関係を明らかにすることができた。
