| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Obesity due to lifestyle changes in domestic animals has increased noticeably in the cat is known to significantly increase the risk of type 2 diabetes. It is definite advantage to use of genetic or biochemical examination for preventing obese in cats. In this research project, we challenged to develop a new diagnostic examination of free-fatty acid receptor 4 (FFAR4 / GPR120) gene for preventing cat obesity.
