Outline of Final Research Achievements

Near-infrared fluorescence image-guided laparoscopic surgery (FIGLS) introduces a revolutionary new approach to address this basic challenge in minimally invasive surgery. However, current FIGLS systems have some limitations, the infrared rays cannot detect for thick tissue and be visualized with low concentrations of the fluorescent agent. We established a novel laparoscopic fluorescence imaging and spectrum system for overcome the limitations.
