Outline of Final Research Achievements

Tumor-specific immunoreaction may play an important role in chemoradiotherapy for esophageal cancer. In esophageal squamous cell carcinoma cell lines, down-regulation of miR-222 and miR-339 might has a potential to up-regulate ICAM-1 expression. These micro RNAs might be candidates for molecular targets to enhance anti-tumor effect in chemoradiotherapy for esophageal cancer with T-cell infiltration.
