| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The olfactory epithelial layer contains multipotent horizontal base cells(HBCs) that differentiate into olfactory sensory neurons. We have identified that HBCs express oligodendrocyte precursor cell (OPC) and astrocyte markers.
