昨年度はギャップ結合阻害剤添加下で培養されたマウス胚は無添加群と比してタイムラプスビデオ観察下で有為に多くの胚で｛ストランド現象｝をみとめ、内部細胞塊の分裂した胚も多く認められた。 ここまでの知見をまとめて雑誌発表をした。 (Togashi et al. Journal of assisted reproduction and genetics, 32 969-976. 2015) 本年度はこの「ストランド現象」が凍結融解後の胚に多く認められることに着目し、体外培養系における不自然な胚発育挙動に関しての検討をすすめた。 マウス新鮮胚および凍結融解後胚の発育をタイムラプス下にハッチング（孵化）の段階まで観察した。 凍結融解後群において胚盤胞期に胞胚腔の著名な縮小をともなう胚全体の収縮運動(強収縮)が約半数に認められ、それが認められた胚は完全孵化への到達率が低下していた。また、強収縮が認められた胚はストランド現象が顕著に認められる傾向があり、それらの胚の細胞運動、電解質移送などに関わる遺伝子発現が低下する傾向も認められた。以上の結果をままとめて雑誌発表をした。(Shimoda Y et al, Journal of Reproduction and Development 22;62:187-93. 2016)
