Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research aimed to evaluate polymerization contraction behavior of resin composites and composite adaptation to the cavity wall using micro-focus X-ray CT, environmental SEM and dye penetration test. The light-cured resin composite, which exhibited increased contrast ratios during polymerization, decrease polymerization contraction volume, and improve resin composite adaptation to the cavity wall using the slow-start curing method.
