Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this research, we have developed and evaluated a new design of shogi (Japanese Chess) database, which has both game records and positions tables. In detail: (1) We have developed a database system that has game records and positions data, and API to use the database. (2) We have collected more than 27 million position data. (3) We have developed a networked Kansousen (post-game discussion) support system. (4) We have evaluated the developed systems from the viewpoints of performance and usability. We have validated the functions and efficiency are appropriate, but it is still required to improve them in the aspects of simplicity and usability. (5) We have presented our research 10 times.
