Outline of Final Research Achievements |
[Background and purpose] Recently, music therapy has been performed. But we don’t know how it effects clearly. [Material and method] Volunteers played music while recording ECG and respiration rate. Fluctuation of autonomic function in playing music was measured by using the frequency analysis of RR interval. [Result] Music playing modify the autonomic function. Music appreciation, do not directly affect the autonomic function. Listening to music improves the mood.
