| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this reserch, I aimed to explore the narure of the recognition judgement. In particular, I studied the characteristics of the New Item judgement. In experiment, participants memorized 24,36,54,72,90,108 items (between participants conditions) incidentally. After 3 minutes, participants did recognition judgements and measured reaction times.
As a result, reaction times for New items ware about 100ms slower than for Old items in all conditions. This suggests the different process between old items and new items in recognition judgement.
