Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this work, we observed the light-induced polarization reversal in room-temperature organic ferroelectrics. Furthermore, for the first time, terahertz radiation induced by nonlinear optical process (i.e., optical rectification and impulsive stimulated Raman scattering) was detected in room-temperature organic ferroelectrics by irradiation of a femtosecond laser pulse. In addition, visualization of ferroelectric domains and domain walls was made using a terahertz-radiation imaging.
