| Research Abstract |
本研究の目的は，鉱物中の流体包有物の流体のその場同位体分析法を開発することである．流体包有物はその鉱物が晶出時の母液を取り込んだもので地下深部流体を直接分析できる貴重なサンプルである．流体には水素，酸素，炭素，窒素等の元素が含まれておりその同位体組成は流体の起源を探る鍵として使われている．本研究では，流体包有物を凍結して，研磨を行い，流体を表面に露出させた後，二次イオン質量分析法で流体構成元素の同位体分析を行う試料作成法を開発する．この試料作成法が完成すれば，μm サイズの流体包有物から水素，酸素，炭素，窒素の同位体比がその場分析可能になる．鉱物成長の化学システムを決定することは地球化学研究の基礎であるため，本研究は地球化学研究全分野に役立ち実用的にも応用可能な研究課題と考えられる．本年度は以下の研究成果が得られた．
1. 流体包有物の流体は塩濃度が高いので，試料温度は，食塩と水の共晶点温度(-21.3°C) 以下の温度で測定が終わるまでのすべての実験が行われる条件をクリアするため，試料研磨盤に液体窒素プールを作成し，-100°C 程度まで冷却可能な研磨機を設計製作した．この研磨盤の上にスライド式試料研磨機構を設計製作した．また，研磨盤への液体窒素自動補給装置を設計製作した．次に，窒素雰囲気コントロールできるグローブボックスを製作し，研磨装置全体をその中に設置した．この機構により，2. 結霜防止のため湿度0%雰囲気で研磨する条件をクリアした．3.冷凍ステージを装備した反射顕微鏡をグローブボックスに設置した．この顕微鏡による試料表面観察を行い，4. 流体凍結研磨により凍った流体包有物を試料表面に露出させた試料に対し，試料表面を速やかに観察できるようにし，研磨による露出程度を迅速に検定しSIMS 最適試料の製作をできる様にしつつある．

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
今後は凍結流化包有物の表面に金薄膜コーティングする技術を開発し，２次イオン質量分析法により氷の水素と酸素の全同位体を安定して測定する分析法を開発する方策である．
