Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We planed to develop new microRNA detection techniques using fluorescent oligonucleotides and rolling circle amplification. As the fluorescent nucleosides developed 5-(3-methylbenzofuran-2-yl)deoxyuridine (dUMBF), the dUMBF derivatives incorporating various substituents on its benzofuran ring, and 7-deazaguanine incorporating benzofuranyl group at the 7 position. The fluorescent properties of these nucleosides and oligonucleotides incorporating them were studied.
