| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
This research has had three main achievements:
- Assessment of key parameters for constructing mathematical models of HIV and TB, including testing rates and risk behavior, from a large number of comprehensive global datasets
- Contribution of HIV and TB mortality and DALY estimates to the global burden of disease project, to improve understanding of prevalence of HIV and TB in the Asia-Pacific region
- Development of mathematical properties of complex HIV models, and its implication for modeling of HIV and TB
These research achievements have been presented at an invited talk, and published in peer reviewed journals.
