| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
１ ルミネッセンス測定装置：1年目に構築した装置に測定プログラムを導入した。プラグラムには、従来のTL法やOSL法のほかに、SAR法によるTL測定やOSL測定、およびpIRIR測定が可能になった。また、装置に装着した小型Ｘ線管球についてテストを行い、線量を較正して線量評価が行えるようにした。
２ 年代測定のための実験環境：異動により、新たに実験環境を整えた。まず、簡易暗室を設置し、前処理が行える環境を整えた。年間線量評価のために、休眠していたGe半導体検出器を再稼働し、検量線を作成して、線量率評価を行えるようにした。
３ パキスタン試料の年代測定：パキスタン南部シンド州ハイルプール県において採取した砂丘堆積物について年代測定を行い、堆積年代を評価した。これにより、測定装置が正確に動作することが確認できた。
４ パキスタンでの野外調査：研究協力者がパキスタンへ渡航して調査許可を現地で締結できた。また、ソアン川流域の石器出土層準に関連した試料の採取に成功した。

Reason
設計製作したルミネッセンス測定装置は、テスト測定や小型Ｘ線管球の較正も終了し、実際に測定が可能になった。また、Ge半導体検出器も稼働できた。このことから、OSLおよびTL年代測定が行える環境を整備できた。そして、年代データも確実に蓄積できるようになった。
パキスタンでの調査も研究協力者の後押しもあり、現地調査の許可も取得でき、OSL年代測定の採取も行えたことからもおおむね順調に進展している。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
研究協力者達とさらに密に連携をとって、パキスタンでの調査を進展させ、石器群を評価するための地質年代編年構築のためのデータを蓄積していくことが求められる。そのために、再度試料を採取する計画である。
また、作成した機器やこれまで得られたデータについて、成果として国際会議や国内の学会において公表を行っていく予定である。
