| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
ランダム化比較試験（RCT）に先立って実施した、オメガ3系脂肪酸の妊婦におけるうつ症状に対する有効性を示唆するオープン試験の結果を出版した（Nishi D, et al. Psychiatry Clin Neurosci. 2016）。
また、RCTのプロトコルを学術誌に出版した(Nishi D, et al. BMC psychiatry 2016)。RCTの研究参加者を、平成28年度中に日本で31人、台湾で26人リクルートした。主要評価時点である介入12週後の調査までに脱落したのは日本で0人、台湾で2人であり、当初の想定より脱落率は低かった。安全性に関して、介入と関連の可能性がある有害事象として軽度から中等度の軟便・下痢、消化器の不快感（胸やけ、胃もたれ等）、げっぷ等は認められたが、重度の有害事象は認められなかった。
なお、副次的な解析からも複数の結果が得られた。具体的には、わが国の市中産院の妊婦の精神疾患の有病率およびその関連要因を明らかにし(Usuda K, Nishi D, et al. BioPsychoSocial Medicine 2016)、出産後の産婦の心理的成長の関連要因も明らかにした(Nishi D et al. Journal of Psychosomatic Obstetrics & Gynecology 2017)。
