| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The results of this study revealed that the perception as a “Sporting City” statistically correlated with the growth of city’s population. On the other hand, it did not statistically correlate with growth of income and social unrest. Consequently, it suggested that the development and promotion of sport might vitalize the city by the growth of population, whereas the mechanism of vitalization by the development and promotion of sport was not revealed.
