Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The study proved a part of the actual conditions of party politics in prewar Japan from the viewpoint of THE SEIYU PARTY and THE KENSEI PARTY(THE RIKKEN PARTY)and the government of Hokkaido in 1910~1940. Furthermore, it came to a new understanding of the development conception in prewar Hokkaido. At the time, it focused on the Diet members for Hokkaido Prefecture, the Hokkaido branch of the political parties, the Hokkaido assembly, and prefectural office. The study showed efficacy of Dominant-party system thinking about the regional development. This system will be more effective than two‐party system in development. It is a new viewpoint in Political history of Japan (Hokkaido). Moreover, the study was to uncover innovation of the development conception in prewar Hokkaido.
