議論の論理構成を評価する能力は，現代社会にあふれる様々な言説を良き市民として適切に考慮し，自他の主張の根拠を客観的に把握し，生産的なコミュニケーションを可能にするための必須のスキル(知的インフラ)である。この論証リテラシーの妥当な測定法を開発できれば，まず論理的思考力を高めることを目的とした授業の教育効果の検討に利用可能であり，さらに教育方法の改善，熟達訓練による自己学習用教材の開発，入学者選抜の選抜資料としての利用，など多用途に活用可能である。
本年度は論証図課題，批判的思考態度尺度を用いた教育実践データの収集を行った。
また関連する論文，学会発表を行った。
