Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Cell cycle synchronization technique which is size-based sorting with microfluidic device was developed. Recovery efficiency of cells from the device was improved by albumin treatment in the microchannel. The recovery rate of G0/G1 phase and G2/M phase were over 90% and 50%, respectively. The size-based microfluidic device was able to separate the cells on G0/G1 phase efficiently by albumin treatment. Also, cell separation technique based on the attachment activity of each cell cycle phase was developed. G2/M phase and S phase may recover efficiently using this technique.
