Outline of Final Research Achievements

This research aimed to clarify a prerequisite to execute deliberate and logical urban tree risk management and to respond to problems of them. After grasping actual conditions of urban tree risk management, 22 dialogue workshops were conducted. They made clear about following problems, and I researched them with some experiments.
a) Influences to tree growth by the street environment, b) Influences to tree growth by the pruning way to remove branches excessively, c) Physiological and psychological functions of roadside trees and d) Influence to the function of roadside trees by pruning way
