Outline of Final Research Achievements |
1. Lassa virus Z has a mojor role on virus assembly and budding. We have shown that Z localized at late endosome(CD63 as a marker), and viral glycoprotein (GPC) facilitated this localization significantly. 2. Cellular factor, ALIX/AIP1, plays an important role on Z-mdeiated virus budding. 3. Z was tagged with Nano luc (Nluc) gene to establish high-through put screening system, and A549 stably expressing Z-Nluc cell line was cloned.
