Outline of Annual Research Achievements

【論文掲載】4月24日HIV感染タイ人予後に関する論文"HLA-B*35:05 is a protective allele with a unique structure among HIV-1 CRF01_AE-infected Thais, in whom the B*57 frequency is low."が国際雑誌AIDS（IF 6.557）に掲載された。
本研究により①HLA-B*57が人種・ウィルス株を超えHIV抑制に貢献する②HLA-B*35:05がCRF01_AE株感染タイ人のウィルス抑制に貢献する　以上が明らかとなった。
【学会発表・賞受賞】NK細胞受容体（KIR:Killer Immunoglobulin-like receptor）の研究が2月23日-26日、国際学会CROI: Conference on Retroviruses and Opportunistic Infections（於：Seattle, US）にて演題2題：①Effect of KIR2D-mediated immunity on clinical outcome among CRF01_AE-infected Thais.（HLA-C1-KIR2DL3陽性者でのHIV感染後予後不良） ②HLA-KIR-associated sites in Gag and their effects on clinical outcome in Thailand.（HLA-Bw4-KIR3DL1関連Gagアミノ酸変異と予後改善）　が採択され、いずれもYoung Investigator Awardsの受賞に到った。
【論文投稿】上記学会発表内容①につき雑誌AIDSへ投稿し、現在査読後の編集中である。

今年度は英国・Oxford大学での研究打ち合わせ中心に、論文掲載・国際学会での演題採択並びに賞受賞・新たな論文投稿と成果が反映された為。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

①国際学会で演題採択となった内容につき論文掲載を目指す。
②上記内容掲載の後、Review articleの作成・投稿をOxford大学と打ち合わせを行う。

Causes of Carryover

現在投稿中の論文への掲載料を見越していたものの、今年度中の掲載に到らなかった為。
