Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To introduce problem based learning (PBL) in radiological technique education, this study performed an evaluation index development for the PBL, and an implementation of PBL in radiological technique education. First, the semantic differential technique was employed as evaluation index. This technique can evaluate student's attitude. As preliminary investigation, it was confirmed that student's attitude changed before and after clinical training. Next, the PBL was implemented in plain radiography practical training. By the PBL practice, students could realize a clinical scene, and discovered considerable points unwritten in textbooks. SeD technique showed that an attitude of self-efficacy appeared after PBL practical training. A self-efficacy is one benefit of PBL.
