Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We examined the effect of intravenous anesthetics on proopiomelanocortin gene expression in pituitary cell lines. Ketamine or dexmedetomidine did not affect the proopiomelanocortin gene expression. Propofol dose-dependently enhanced the proopiomelanocortin gene expression.
