Outline of Final Research Achievements

We examined the effect of intravenous anesthetics on proopiomelanocortin gene expression in pituitary cell lines.
Ketamine or dexmedetomidine did not affect the proopiomelanocortin gene expression. Propofol dose-dependently enhanced the proopiomelanocortin gene expression.
