| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to elucidate unknown disease specific antigen for ocular sarcoidosis, we have analyzed vitreous sample of sarcoidosis and non-sarcoidosis uveitis obtained at the time of vitrectomy surgery using proteomics. By comparing two groups, we were able to elucidate 15 differentially expressed annotated proteins spots, either unregulated or down regulated. These proteins are specific to sarcoidosis uveitis and by further analysis, there is a possibility to identify disease specific antigen for ocular sarcoidosis.
