Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Improvement of edema was evaluated in lymphedema model of amputated limb at rat hind limb by lymph-peritoneal shunt with implantable pump. Although circumference tended to be thin at shunt side, there was no significant difference compared to control. There was no significant difference in histological evaluation. Battery life of implantable pump was short, long-term efficacy and safety evaluation was difficult.
