Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The most commonly complications during supraglottic airway device (SAD) anesthesia for oral surgery are temporary ventilation difficulties. Reposition of SAD is initially performed to correct ventilation difficulty when using SADs. Therefore, dental anesthesiologists must be more attentive to manipulation that may cause malposition of SADs, such as pulling or pushing SADs. The results of this research suggests the safe direction for uses of SADs in oral surgery.
