Outline of Final Research Achievements

ROS (reactive oxygen species) is a mitochondrial by-product, interfering with various kinds of biomolecule function. In this study, we developed novel reporter systems detecting mitochondrial stress status or inflammatory damage, and evaluated ROS-mediated damage at cellular level or in animal model.
