Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In order to use recent massive parallel computers efficiently, I developed a nuclear shell-model calculation code "KSHELL" for massive parallel computation. This code runs efficiently also on a single node. It is equipped with a user-friendly interface and is openly distributed via the internet for nuclear-physics researchers including experimentalists. For solving an eigenvalue problem in nuclear shell-model calculations, I implemented thick-restart block-Lanczos and Sakurai-Sugiura methods in addition to the conventional Lanczos method.
